  3. This looks like a shield that has Medusa's head on it! I bet the shield was created to scare the enemy out of their wits! It represents something that you should not look at everyday, because it is very scary, as Medusa is a demon.

  6. She's been in the wall for as long as anyonew could remember, the worst thing happened to her the worst of all. She saw Madusa, for those who don't know Madusa well you don't want to see her, just one look at your stone. Thats what happened to this girl someone found her hard as rock in a hall. So they took her stone and made a mask of it from a plaster that they lead on her face. Since then it's been hanging on this wall there are different story of course but no one knows who she really was or where she really can from.... Add on if you would like to. :)

  22. Yeah you should be scared! BEWARE OF MEDUSA! See, Medusa lived in there a loooong time ago. (Like before Jesus was born!) It was a apartment at the time and they had a No Party policy but Medusa had a wild party there and she got kicked out. Then in revenge she put a plaque there to haunt who ever came to that spot. Cool Medusa, cool.

  28. Should I be scared?
That is the question I ask myself every time I walk down the hall leading to the kitchen. I always ask my mom what it is and what it's suppose to mean, she always just pretends she didn't hear or changes the subject.

  29. You should be very scared. It is a sacred shrine to Medusa. She will come after you if you don't like her. She turns people to stone with her icy glare. She will never turn you back from a stone.

  30. Be very scared of medusa. Well as long as you don't look into her eyes you should be fine. Just don't have any geines in your house, she'll wake.

    ReplyDelete
  31. You should be super scared. This face is Medusa, the monster. She will stone you any time you walk past her. You will turn into stone for 5 whole minutes, and then you will turn regular again, but you won't forget the sight of Medusa coming to life. Never pass Medusa in the hallway... Ever.

    ReplyDelete
  32. No no you should not be scared. Encase you could not tell that was sarcasm. You should be running for your life. What you got on that wall is nothing other than the great Medusa. It appears that she froze herself in stone by looking in a mirror, but don't be fooled if you look her in her black soulless eyes you too will meet the same terrible fiat as her and many others.
    YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!!!

  33. This hangs on my wall it means that a girl lived here and she died and had something else to do before she died and she has been turned in to a snake girl and she has been looking for someone that is living in the house she was living in the house she lved in and she wants reveng you should be scared.

  34. This is the portrait of Madusa when she had been turned into stone herself. The message it brings it that never have snakes as hair. No, that's not right. Wear hats? Whatever lets get on to the next question. You should definitely not be scared. Remember the beginning when I said she was turned into stone, that means she can't move. So I guess that's it.

  35. There was a girl who was afraid of snakes. But she also did not like the gods. She said mean things when she did prayers to the gods and thought they were stupid, and had no use. So the gods decided to punish her and had 100 snakes go after her, they ate her. The sculpture represents hatred and cruelty. so no you don't have to be scared.

    ReplyDelete
  36. yes you should be scared if you are not a descendant of the great medusa!
this carving of her protects her family and turns anyone that harms them into stone.
